System Health-Check

Take advantage of a System Health-Check with Bowtechnical. Use our preventative maintenance, with regular monthly or quarterly health checks on your systems which can identify, diagnose and resolve a problem before your system capability is compromised.

What does this involve?

The System Health-Check service would involve us using secure remote access to gain control of your Server (s) on your chosen month or quarterly plan. We would then perform comprehensive checks on the systems to ensure reliability and stability.

We would check areas such as:

• Disk Space - Check space levels, growth, performance and errors.
• Running Processes - Check for any unusual or suspicious activity.
• Running Services - Check and disable any services which are not required to start on boot.
• Memory and Processor Usage -Check for an unusual activity and memory or processor hogging.
• Start-up Applications - Check and disable any applications not required to start on boot.
• Event Logs - Check for possible problems in the system, application and security logs.
• Anti-Virus & Spyware - Check updates are being performed and schedule a full overnight scan.
• Ports - Check for any unusual or suspicious activity.
• Backups - Check backups are rotating successfully and examine the logs for errors.
• Windows Updates and Service Packs - Check updates are being installed. Service Pack if necessary.
• Processor and case temperatures - Check for any signs of overheating.
• Fan speed and performance - Check fans are running at a satisfactory speed.
